| 内容記述 | This paper provides a detailed account of the author’s efforts, in a rapidly aging rural Japanese community of approximately 700 households and 1200 persons, to identify vacant homes, to find their owners, to receive approval from their owners for their rental or sale, to clean and restore said homes and ultimately to find suitable occupants for them. During the 2017 calendar year some forty potential homes were identified and the owners of seven of these homes were approached with varying levels of success. As a result of these efforts, one of the seven homes is now occupied by a young man who has moved into the community. | |||||
