内容記述 本研究は、中学校保健体育授業で実施される傾向がある授業の形態について、男女共習の視点から、各領域単位で明らかにすると共に、それらと授業を計画・実施する中学校保健体育教師の男女共習で保健体育授業を実施することに対する意識の関連について検討することを通して、中学校保健体育授業が抱える現状の課題を指摘することを目的とする。
　調査の結果、水泳については、未だに男女別で実施されている傾向があることが示された。また、球技や武道は、男女が同じ空間で学んでいたとしても、練習やゲームの場面では、男女で分けられて実施されている傾向があった。
　さらに、中学校保健体育教師の男女共習で保健体育授業を実施することに対する意識とそれぞれの領域で実施される傾向がある授業の形態の関連に関しては、武道とダンスを除いた領域で関連があることが示された。これらの点は、現在の中学校保健体育授業が抱える課題として指摘できる。

内容記述 The purpose of this study is to clarify the teaching styles that tend to be conducted in junior high school health and physical education classes in each of the fields from the perspective of coeducation and to point out the problems of junior high school health and physical education classes by examining the relationship between these teaching styles and the consciousness of coeducation by junior high school health and physical education teachers.
It shows that the teachers tend to conduct swimming classes in single-sex classes. In addition, the teachers tend to conduct ball games and budo classes separately for boys and girls in practice and game situations, even if it is coeducational classes.
Furthermore, it indicates that the consciousness of coeducation by junior high school health and physical education teachers is related to the teaching styles of the fields except budo and dance, which the teachers tend to conduct. There are the issues facing junior high school health and physical education classes.
