| 内容記述 | In modern Japanese, the form “dare+mo” is usually used in conjunction with the negative form of a predicate to deny human actions, behaviors and status. However, under some semantic conditions, this form can be used with the positive form of a predicate to affirm human actions, behaviors and status. This paper divides the syntactic distribution comprising the collocation of “dare+mo” and affirmative predicate into two groups, namely the “typical” and “non typical.” Furthermore, the researcher elaborates and discusses these two types of divisions by introducing a theoretical framework of co-occurrence restrictions. This paper aims to clarify the syntactic distributions of “dare+mo” when interacting with the affirmative form so as to establish the grammatical norms for the acquisition of a second or additional language. | |||||||||||
