This paper aims to focus on the former aspect and examines the features pertaining to the perceptions of the personnel regarding their work environment. A qualitative analysis was conducted on the basis of free answers obtained from a questionnaire survey administered to 223 participants facilitating children or persons with disabilities. The results of the evaluation of the descriptions provided by the participants were classified into five core categories. Statements on the work environment and also on matters external to the workplace milieu were included in this analysis. Participants' insights on their work environment were incorporated in the core category, "the workplace and the treatment received in the workplace." This core category also encompassed assertions about the physical and mental burden borne by these personnel. This paper primarily reports on the results of the examination conducted on statements included in this core category.
