This research aimed at grasping the actual situation by conducting a questionnaire survey using the Japanese version of burnout self-diagnosis table (Tao, Kubo 1996) to staff of child care facilities in prefecture A. As a result of the survey, those who are planning to leave are more likely to feel that the extent of emotional exhaustion is progressing, than those who wish to continue their work.
